We will be competing in the 3A - 9 district; down from 4A where we were very competitive. With 4 returning starters and a strong freshman class (4) we should be a contender for the district title. Tenoroc will once again rely on a pressure defense, and will have plenty of speed to run the floor on offense.

The Lady Titans are District Champions
Stats
The Tenoroc Lady Titans ended their second year of play with a historic season; finishing 18-8 overall. Here are some of the highlights.
They made history by winning their first regular season District Championship with a 10-2 record in district play; becoming the first Tenoroc sport to win a Championship (this also comes with the honor of being the first team to put up a Championship banner in the school's place of honor located in the gym). Playing in their first Regional Tournament.

Placed 3rd at the Fort Myers Christmas Tournament, playing against some of the best teams in the state.
Coach Smith is Coach of the Year
Arielle Durant is Player of the Year
Coach and player of the year in Polk County is decided by the county coaches at the Florida Athletic Coaches Association meeting. This is a high honor and recognition and very competitive.

And what about Coach Smith, not only did he coach the Lady Titans to their first Championship, he was also selected as 3A District #12 Coach of the Year, and he and his staff were selected to coach the Polk County

Let's look at what Arielle Durant accomplished this year. She became the first athlete to sign an athletic scholarship, was the FACA District #12 Player of the Year, the first player to be chosen to play in North-South All-Star Game (Daytona Beach, March 2010), and was the first player to be nominated for the McDonald All-Star Game.
